In this session, you’ll get a simple, beginner-friendly overview of how your digestion works from an Eastern perspective and what helps it function smoothly.
You’ll learn:
- What “digestive fire” is and why it matters
- How to create quick simple meals that feel grounding and easy to digest
- How to adapt ingredients based on your body type
Then, we’ll walk through a step-by-step cooking demo together, with live explanations, easy substitutions, and guidance on how to personalize the ingredients for your body type.
Session 2 — Eating in Rhythm With Your Body
Saturday, January 24 • 1 hour live on Zoom
In this session, you’ll learn how to support your digestion by aligning your meals with your body’s natural rhythm — so you feel more grounded, energized, and steady throughout the day.
You’ll learn:
- How your body clock influences digestion
- How to time your meals for steadier energyÂ
- How to choose gentle spices that match your body type
Then, we’ll walk through a step-by-step cooking demo together, with live guidance on why each step supports digestion and how to tailor the ingredients and spices for your body type.
We’ll end with a short Q&A for personalized support.
Equipment Needed
You only need two basic items for this workshop:

Meet Karen
Hi, I'm Karen Jee, founder of Glow Within Wellness and the host of this workshop. I'm trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine Food Therapy. IÂ provide support for women to heal, nourish, and thrive through using food as medicine.
I created this workshop because so many people — myself included — were told “everything looks normal” while struggling with bloating, fatigue, and feeling off.
For years, I dealt with inflammation, eczema, painful periods, PCOS symptoms, and total burnout. Nothing helped until I began supporting my body with warm, simple foods and the Traditional Chinese Medicine approach to digestion and Yin-Yang balance.
